I wanted to create an open bangle that does not turn on mine or your wrist. Handcrafted stunningly beautiful yet totally simple in design is this heavy-gauge teardrop bangle. Wear it on many occasions. Copper is said to have many health benefits.

I was asked to add a  to create an open bangle for Child Abuse Awareness. A bangle that does not turn on the wrist and stays put.  Handcrafted stunningly beautiful yet totally simple in design is this heavy-gauge teardrop bangle with a Blue Black Faceted Crackle Agate Bead in the teardrop to symbolize Child Abuse Awareness. Wear it on many occasions. Copper is said to have many health benefits.

Beads vary in colors, no two beads are the same as displayed in the picture.! Beads are chosen by me in random order.

So precious yet so delicate are the wings of a butterfly and when touched it can break and never fly again. So the butterfly wings remind us of abused children who are as delicate as butterfly wings and are easily broken, hence the sterling silver wire wrap which symbolizes also a broken heart through the pain endured.

My sturdy handmade necklace is sculpted into butterfly wings or hearts out of health-friendly copper wire and antiqued to reveal the hammered surface. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver cable chain. A sparkly 6mm blue black sandstone bead charm symbolizes the child and the awareness color.

This handcrafted sterling silver sculpted hammered butterfly wing pendant which is the symbol for Child Abuse Survivors' reminds us also of the broken battered mended hearts that are left behind,  hence the copper wire wrap. A sparkly black Swarovski Crystal Teardrop crystal reminds us of the many tears cried in hopelessness, despair, and depression. The handmade meaningful pendant hangs from a leather necklace with sterling silver crimped lobster clasp closure.
