How to measure your wrist for a bracelet

📏 Find Your Perfect Bracelet Fit! 💎

Whether you're choosing a handmade chain bracelet or a beautiful beaded bracelet, measuring your wrist correctly helps ensure a comfortable fit.

💕 Step 1: Measure Your Wrist

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, just below the wrist bone (toward your hand).

  2. Keep the tape snug against your skin without squeezing.

  3. Record your wrist measurement in inches.

  4. If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.

✨ Step 2: Add Room for Comfort

Your wrist measurement is not necessarily your finished bracelet size!

  • Snug Fit: Add ¼ inch

  • Normal medium wrist Fit:  7 inches Add ½ inch

  • Loose Fit: Add ¾–1 inch

For most chain bracelets, I recommend adding approximately ½ inch for comfortable everyday wear.

📿 Special Note for Beaded Bracelets

Bead size matters! Larger beads take up more space around your wrist, making the bracelet feel tighter.

For bracelets with large beads, you may need additional length beyond your usual chain bracelet size.

💎 Example

If your wrist measures 6.5 inches:

  • Snug fit: 6.75 inches

  • Comfortable fit: 7 inches

  • Loose fit: 7.25–7.5 inches

I try to offer my bracelets in various sizes for the 6 inch, 7 inch 8 inch 9 inch and 10 inch wrist
