📏 How to Measure Your Hand for Bangles
To find your ideal bangle size, you'll need to measure the widest part of your hand. Here's how:
- Gather Your Materials: You'll need a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.
- Position Your Hand: Bring your thumb to your pinky finger as if you're putting on a bangle. This creates the narrowest position for your hand to slip through the bangle.
- Measure Around: Wrap the measuring tape or string around the widest part of your hand (across your knuckles, not including your thumb).
- Record the Measurement: Note the circumference in inches. If using string, mark where it meets and measure against a ruler.

✨ Some beautiful things deserve a second story. This original Alexa Martha design was born from the silver angel wing frames left behind while creating my angel wing earrings.—but I couldn't simply discard them. I saw beauty and possibility in what remained. So I gave each one a new purpose, soldering the silver onto hand-hammered copper and adding three sparkling Swarovski crystals. These cuffs are also available without the embedded flat Swarovski crystals. The result is a cuff about transformation, second chances, and finding beauty where others might not think to look. 🪽❤️
🪽 What Makes This Cuff So Special?
This isn't a mass-produced bracelet. I create each cuff from a 6-inch × 5/8-inch strip of heavy 14-gauge copper, rounding the ends and adding layers of texture with different hammers.
The silver wings have an even more unusual story. When I stamp out the silver angel wings for my earrings, beautiful silver angel wing frame pieces are left behind. Instead of throwing them away, I transform them into a completely new design by soldering the silver directly onto the hammered copper cuff.
🪽 No two cuffs are ever exactly alike. The hammer patterns, placement direction of the wings, the sculpting process, and antiqued finish give each piece its own character—so the cuff you receive is uniquely yours.
💎 I finish the design by embedding three super-sparkly flat Swarovski crystals into the edges of the silver wings if you choose this option

The cuff measures approximately 6 inches long × 5/8 inch wide and is designed to comfortably fit a 6½–7 inch wrist.
Because of its sculpted design and heavy 14-gauge copper, this is a substantial artisan cuff—not a thin, mass-produced bracelet- truly handmade
🔨 Is It Really Handmade & How Is It Finished?
Yes—from beginning to end.
I cut, file, hammer, solder and sculpt each cuff by hand. After the crystals are set, I antique the entire piece to create its rich, dimensional color.
I then carefully sand the surface to reveal the different hammered patterns, polish it and finish it with protective wax for long-lasting enjoyment.
