These super cool earrings are handmade from 24-gauge copper strips which are first patterned with a special hammer and then drilled with holes along one side. Through the holes, the super sparkly aquamarine crystals are wire-wrapped interestingly and decoratively with sterling silver wire. The other side of the earring is crimped with pliers and the edges are curled per advice from my lovely daughter—creating a beautiful ruffle-edged effect! The earrings are then antiqued to show off the hammering work and the crimping. The earrings are about 1/2 inch wide and just about 3 inches long.
